These Terms & Conditions govern the sale of products by Sporting Composites Ltd, trading as Shepperton Design Studios, through this website.

By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Placing an Order

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

Once an order has been placed, you will receive an acknowledgement by email. This does not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract is formed only when your order has been accepted and dispatched.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where:

  • Payment cannot be authorised.

  • Products are unavailable.

  • Pricing or product information is incorrect.

  • We reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.

3. Prices

All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (GBP).

Prices include UK VAT where applicable unless otherwise stated.

Delivery charges are calculated separately and displayed during checkout before payment is completed.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time, although confirmed orders will not be affected.

4. Payment

Payment must be received in full before goods are dispatched.

We accept payment methods displayed during the checkout process.

5. Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders within the times stated on the relevant product page. These times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Delivery times may vary depending on destination, customs procedures and courier performance.

Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery.

Ownership of the goods remains with Sporting Composites Ltd until full payment has been received.

6. International Orders

Customers are responsible for any import duties, customs charges, local taxes or other fees imposed by their country.

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance.

Certain products may be restricted from export to specific countries. We reserve the right to cancel orders where legal or licensing restrictions apply.

7. Product Information

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, specifications and photographs are accurate.

Due to the handmade nature of many of our products, slight variations in finish, colour or appearance may occur and do not constitute defects.

Measurements and weights are approximate unless otherwise stated.

8. Returns

If you are purchasing as a consumer within the United Kingdom, you may have rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

If you change your mind, you may return unused items within 14 days of receiving your order unless the item is exempt from cancellation rights.

Returned items must:

  • Be unused.

  • Be in their original condition.

  • Include all original packaging where reasonably possible.

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method after the goods have been inspected.

Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty or supplied in error.

9. Faulty or Damaged Goods

If your item arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible with your order number and photographs where appropriate.

Where a product is confirmed to be faulty, we will repair, replace or refund the item in accordance with your statutory rights.

10. Warranty

Unless otherwise stated, products are supplied with the benefit of your statutory consumer rights.

Any manufacturer warranties are provided in addition to, and do not affect, your legal rights.

11. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence.

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

  • Any liability which cannot legally be excluded.

Subject to the above, our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the goods supplied.

We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses except where required by law.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, photographs, graphics, product designs and logos, remains the property of Sporting Composites Ltd or its licensors and may not be copied or reproduced without prior written permission.

13. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform our obligations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, industrial disputes, pandemics, transport disruption, government action or supplier failure.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
